Sherry vinegar is made in the Spanish province of Cádiz, inside an area known as the “sherry triangle”. Authentic sherry vinegar is called “vinagre de Jerez”. It must be aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of six months and up to or more than ten years.
The best way to serve this excellent vinegar is paired with a top quality extra virgin olive oil on a fresh salad or grilled vegetables. It is a key ingredient for making great gazpacho, and is great for cooked dishes as well.
