This bread is typical of the gastronomy of Catalonia, also common in the Balearic Islands and Valencia. It is characterized by its round shape, a thicker crust and a lower fat content than ordinary bread. It is sold whole or sliced, and it is the traditional bread to make pà amb tomàquet. Defrost for 45 minutes and bake for 25-28 minutes at 180 ºC.
