Majorero cheese is an artisan cheese produced on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. It is made with Majorera goat milk. Majorero cheese is a pressed-paste cheese with a creamy texture and mild flavor. The cheese is aged at least 60 days to create a semi-firm cheese that is milder than the more aged version. Majorero cheese was the first Spanish goat cheese to achieve the Protected Designation of Origin.
